Since graduating from Coventry University with a journalism degree in 2012, Dan has dived into the world of marketing, applying his nose for a story in delivering integrated communications campaigns, both internally and externally. He is skilled in copywriting, media relations, social media management, campaign planning and delivery, as well as research-driven content.

His experience spans a diverse range of clients across various sectors such as MG, Honda, Panini, Screwfix, Transport Research Laboratory and Alphera Financial Services. This expansive knowledge of different industries gives him the ability to digest information quickly, learning all he can about a business then turning this insight into an effective communications campaign, taking advantage of all the channels available.

This approach allows him to then work in collaboration with the significant design and digital capabilities of the Leader team, allowing clients to take advantage of these services and benefit from fully-integrated campaigns.

What do you most enjoy about your work:

Variety is the spice of life and marketing allows me to get to know so many different people and businesses, across a huge range of sectors. Being on the front line of a marketing campaign that makes a positive difference for those businesses is really rewarding.

What do you do in your spare time:

I’m a long-suffering Aston Villa fan – so I can usually be found at Villa Park. Sport aside, I’ve recently adopted a retired racing greyhound, so it is long dog walks followed by the latest binge worthy Netflix series is!
